Practical papers, articles and application notes

When I attended the Pan-Pacific EMC (PPEMC) Joint Meeting in Japan in December 2012, two young participants caught my attention. Dinh Thanh Le, a Vietnamese student, came to Japan to pursue his Ph.D. degree and Farhan Zaheed Mahmood came to Japan with his parents from Bangladesh at a very young age and grew up in Japan. I invited both of them to contribute papers to this column and they responded positively. In this issue, I would like to present to you their research work in the first two papers. With their papers published, I hope other young engineers and researchers in the EMC community follow suit.
