Abstract :
The authors present a hybrid technique using the finite element method (FEM) and the boundary element method (BEM) for modeling 3-D magnetostatic saturated structures. The BEM takes into account the unbounded region (air) and the FEM takes into account the nonlinear magnetic material. A software package has been developed where both reduced and total scalar potentials were used. Two examples have been studied with the help of the proposed method, and results are given
