Attention - Those who have hearing concerns

I am trying to put together a hearing assist program for the 2014 IEEE International Symposium on EMC in Raleigh, NC and need input from each of you. Last year I attended a meeting and was not able to hear the speaker and other members because of my hearing loss coupled with several other conditions related to the room. I was being totally left out of the meeting. I contacted the audio/video people at the symposium and was connected to a 1/8 inch audio jack that plugged into my personal hearing loop which I wore around my neck. This was also connected to the audio system in the room. The difference was night and day for me. I continued in the meeting and was able to completely participate because of the accommodation made for me.
