Abstract
Newly interpreted quantum rules are used first to extend the conservation of momenta four-vectors to an equivalent conservation of central wavenumber four-vector law of the N wave packets of the corresponding N particles. Next, this central wavenumber conservation law is used with the Compton effect for N=2 to show that alpha equals Planck´s constant h(cross). This result demonstrates also that invariant b equals kc, the Compton wavenumber, given by kc=2 pi / lambda c with lambda c=h(m0c) being the Compton wavelength.
