Abstract
Ever since people made their first agreements there have been `exclusion clauses´. Such clauses are intended to limit or exclude the duties or liability of one of the parties, or the extent to which it may be liable for damages. The author discusses the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and how it relates to liability. Three cases are briefly described which relate to liability
