Abstract :
Modeling applied to electromagnetic noise and vibrations in static inductors is presented for two different devices. The emphasis is put on techniques of mechanical homogenization that make it possible to get closer to the actual mechanical structure of the materials, i.e. the laminated or composed structure of the windings and the magnetic circuit. Results of experiments and calculations are compared, and suggestions for changes that would allow a closer agreement between measurements and calculations are proposed
