Abstract
A number of noisy speech enhancement algorithms are experimentally compared in terms of linear predictive coding (LPC) perturbations. The enhancement algorithms considered are simple spectral subtraction, spectral oversubtraction with use of a spectral floor, spectral subtraction with residual noise removal, and time-domain and frequency-domain adaptive minimum mean-square-error filtering. LPC perturbations considered are LPC cepstral distance, log likelihood ratios, and weighted likelihood ratio
