Abstract :
This paper presents a novel parallel addressing scheme for voltage-programmed active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays which provides high precision recovery of the threshold voltage shift. As a result, the uniformity over the panel is significantly improved. In addition, a new pixel circuit is presented that is capable of providing a predictably higher current as the pixel ages, so as to compensate for the OLED luminance degradation
