Abstract :
A simplified model of a small one- and three-phase transformer for simulation of the space-distribution of the leakage field outside the magnetic core is presented. The transformer windings with rectangular cross-section are enclosed in a parallelepiped area of calculation. The authors use the finite difference method with procedures based on the fast Fourier transform. For numerical calculation, the program package FISHPAK for an IBM PC is adopted. The model may be used for simulation of the leakage field taking into account magnetic screens in which the eddy-current reaction is omitted
