Abstract :
Charger impedance, cutoff potential, and sensitivity are measured for the Kodak Ektaprint 100/150 DC Scorotron and the Kodak Ektaprint 250 AC Scorotron. These corona chargers are combined in a booster-trimmer mode of operation. A charger model based on the design parameters is used to predict the performance of this combination. The grid voltage controller is described. Results documenting the charger performance are presented and compared with the model predictions
