Abstract :
An FMX stereo decoder integrated circuit that uses an adjustment-free countdown scheme for 10-Hz detection and a blend-on pilot noise system has been developed. It requires no adjustment or interface to a signal strength meter. Dual bandwidth loop, Walsh functions, 19-kHz pilot cancel, and multipath blanking are also features. A conventional stereo decoder without the FMX function is available
