Abstract :
A graphical user interface to an IC-CIM database that includes geometric, scientific, and business data is described. The interface allows data to be queried and viewed using methods appropriate for each data type (e.g. graphic data are queried/viewed graphically), it can be easily built using existing technology, and it uses a paradigm that allows the interface to be extended when new data types are added to the database
