Abstract :
The 18 papers in this special issue focus on control applications in automotive engineering. The papers cover issues ranging from controlling engines and alternative powerplants (such as fuel cells), to issues in transmission, driveline, and integrated powertrain control (including hybrid electric vehicle control), and finally, to vehicular chassis control applications.
