Abstract :
An oscillator circuit which incorporates periodically operated switches is presented. The circuit is a modified feedback oscillator consisting of two integrators and an inverter, in which a switch has been put in series with each capacitor. By varying the pulse-switching frequency, the frequency of sinewave oscillations can be proportionally varied over a wide low-frequency range which covers six decades. The technique is general and can be applied to any conventional RC oscillator
