Abstract :
An exact solution for the fields of an unconventional ring head with an inclined gap is derived. The Schwartz-Christoffel transformation is used to determine the distribution on the fringe field components in the gap vicinity, and an analytical field equation is obtained. The transcendental equation of the mapping function is solved using Newton´s method
