Abstract
The authors report results of mechanical sensors which are based on the domain wall nucleation process. These sensors can detect position and force. It is shown that the position sensor has a linear characteristic with a submicron sensitivity and the force sensor has an almost-linear behavior for measuring force up to 3 N. A nonuniform behavior of the sensors was observed when the location of the nucleation point changes, and this was smoothed by using the flash annealing process
