Abstract
The influence of a direct transport current I dc on the diamagnetic response of Bi2Sr 2Ca2Cu3Oy ceramics as a function of temperature T has been investigated experimentally. The real χ\´(T ) and imaginary χ"(T ) parts of AC susceptibility shift toward lower temperatures, and the hysteretic loss values decrease as I dc increases. In contrast to what is observed with increasing exciting magnetic field H ac, increase of I dc does not broaden the transition regimes in χ\´(T ) and χ"(T )
