Abstract :
A printed antenna that provides a broadband, efficient solution to integrating antennas with MMICs is presented. The antenna is based upon a proximity coupled stacked patch configuration with optimised layers. A prototype was developed with a 10 dB return loss bandwidth of 21% and a gain of 8 dBi across this band.
