  • Abstract
    The Mo-substituted Nd(Fe,Mo)12Nx compounds are investigated. The ThMn12 crystal structure has been obtained for the RFe11Mo composition by optimizing the solution treatment temperature, and the magnetic properties of RFe11MoNx have been measured. The NdFe11MoNx shows large saturation magnetization and Curie temperature, and has a higher anisotropy field than the NdFe 11TiNx. The magnet fabrication has been carried out by mechanical alloying and rapid quenching process
