Abstract :
The first field demonstration of 43 Gbit/s/channel path provisioning using automatic dispersion compensation based on a tone-modulated CS-RZ signal in a 1.28 Tbit/s (32×43 Gbit/s) WDM system with 420 km of installed DSF using hybrid amplification consisting of EDFA and distributed Raman amplification is reported.
