Abstract :
A simulation package for the assessment of overcurrent relay performance on interconnected distribution networks is developed which gives a new approach to identifying isolated nodes or split networks and fast detection of fault isolation in fault-current calculation. Other types of relay characteristics can be included into the package by simple modification of the program
