  • Abstract
    The COTY-29 development is a new generation of color picture tubes having many improvements over the present in-line self-converging tubes. It is a system wherein all factors, the yoke, the tube, and the receiver interface have been optimized for system cost and performance. Its name, COTY-29, stands for combined optimum tube and yoke-29 mm diameter neck. This system is broad in concept covering all tube sizes from 13V through 25V as well as 90°and 110°deflection angles.
