Abstract
A series of development tests carried out when developing sensors for GIS (gas-insulated switchgear) fault location systems for is described. The sensors are for detecting pressure waves, pressure rises, arc lights, tank vibrations, and ground wire currents caused by fault current arcs. Application methods are presented, and actual applications are considered
