  • Abstract
    An overview of present CAMAC instrumentation trends for control of accelerators and experiments is given. Some developments concerning data acquisition and fast data preprocessing are mentioned. Special emphasis is placed on the use of ¿-computers in CAMAC systems. A new mechanical standard will be described which is widely used by the European industry. Therefore some laboratories have shown considerable interest in this system. Latest ESONE activities are reported.
