Abstract :
For original paper see Z. Zhihua and M. Weiming, IEEE Trans. Electromagn. Compat., vol.44, p.482-486, (2002). For comments paper see IEEE Trans. Electromagn. Compat., vol.45, p661-662, (2003). This reply states that the experimental results on several real circuits show that the capacitive effects are insignificant in computing the AC impedance of an isolated flat conductor. For an isolated flat conductor with dimensions 270 mm ×100 mm×0.3 mm, the experimental data do not show any capacitive effect below 100 MHz.
