Abstract :
CATV networks have great potential for high- speed data transmission owing to their excellent C/N and wide bandwidth. Their rapid proliferation makes them very attractive as data transmission media but there are still many problems in implementing the system-the incompatibility of much of the present CATV equipment and the interference of CATV services.
