Abstract :
A new parameter identification algorithm for linear multivariable discrete-time systems is developed with the use of gradient estimation approach. The algorithm employs certain time-varying and easily choosable gain sequences. It is proved that the algorithm is asymptotically stable, with an increased rate of convergence, in the identification-error space.
