Transfer-function synthesis using PID controllers

This paper considers the exact synthesis of transfer function matrices for linear, square, multivariable systems using PID controllers. A numerical test is developed for the admissibility test of a desired transfer function matrix and a method is given for its synthesis. The method involves simple real-matrix arithmetic.
