Abstract
For single-input
-output systems, a method is described for determining the output feedback vector required to assign
poles and simultaneously computing the coefficients of the residual characteristic polynomial, the roots of which are the remaining unassigned poles. method applies to multiinput single-output systems by duality and is illustrated by a numerical example.
