Abstract :
The two RF-systems for the VICKSI cyclotron operate at 100 kV dee voltage and over a frequency range of 10-20 MHz by means of movable shorts. Each cavity is a ??/4 resonator inductively coupled to the power amplifier. A description is given of the design of the resonator, amplifier and control system. The result of tests and experience of operating the system is reported.
