Abstract :
For pt.I see ibid., vol.6, p.295-301, Jan 1991. An analytical procedure is presented which is suitable for explaining and studying the resonant phenomena on long transmission lines as well as their physical and mathematical models with a finite number of discrete or lumped parameters. The procedure for deriving the mathematical tools is such that it separately takes into consideration each phase of the real physical process taking place for each new reflected voltage or current wave at the ends of the line until the steady state is reached. The final mathematical expressions are relatively simple so that they give an insight into the interplay of the relevant parameters
