Abstract :
A lemma is presented and proved that concerns the exponential convergence property of a special class of probing signals employed in model reference adaptive identification and state observation schemes. The lemma, an interesting result in itself, is useful in finding exponential bounds for the parameter errors in adaptive identification schemes.
