  • Abstract
    Femtosecond optical pulses of 14-fs duration were used to investigate exciton dynamics in II-VI CdZnTe-ZnTe multiple quantum wells, at room temperature. An exciton ionization time of 110 fs was determined. The bleaching strength of `cold´ neutral excitons on excitons is found to be larger than that from the same density of `cool´ free electron-hole pairs
