Abstract :
Methods for very fast and reliable channel acquisition in coherent multichannel receivers are presented. This includes IF bandwidth switching for obtaining proper AFC pull-in signals, as well as local oscillator presetting with maximum drift tolerance. The resulting channel switching speed is 212 ms under all operational conditions.<>
