Abstract :
Using the least-squares boundary residual method, an electromagnetic model of the symmetrical six-port waveguide (E-plane coupled) junction was developed. Tests showed the agreement between predicted and measured results to be good: within 1 dB for the magnitudes of the scattering parameters.
