Abstract :
The use of meteorological variables, such as atmospheric pressure and wind velocity at sea level, in addition to brightness temperatures at two frequencies has been found to increase the accuracy of the required correction. The regression technique has been used to infer five retrieval coefficients proposed for the correction.
