Abstract :
An RF-excited tunable CO laser, of a cavity length of 46.6 cm, operating sealed-off with coolant at -5 degrees C, is described. Frequency stabilization was achieved using the Opto-Hertzian effect, which induces a correlation between the laser and the reflected RF powers.<>
