Abstract :
Architectures of waveguide Butler matrices, for linear and planar arrays, utilizing both short-slot and top-wall hybrids, yield short path from input to output, minimize losses, save flanges, and reduces network size and weight. Novel three-dimensional (3-D) Butler matrix beamformer for volumetric multibeam from planar array is also presented.
