Abstract :
An improved finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) formulation is applied to determine a microwave device´s port voltage and current without solving the state equations of the equivalent circuits at each time step. This new approach has been validated by comparison with the equivalent current-source method. The results based on the proposed approach show good accuracy and computation efficiency
