Abstract :
An almost analytical model for the analysis of integrated optics parametric oscillators is proposed. A comprehensive discussion of the static device characteristics of a doubly resonant oscillator with varying parameters of the optical cavity which influence the operation conditions (single and double pass and resonant pump) is presented. A detailed discussion of the evolution towards the singly resonant condition and the possibility of hysteretic behavior is also included
