Abstract :
A liquid xenon drift chamber with an electron drift space of 13 mm in length has been constructed and the spacial resolution of the drift chamber was investigated by using alpha-particles. At best a spatial resolution of about ± 20 ¿m was achieved. The intrinsic resolution and the possibility of practical applications of such a drift chamber are discussed.
