Abstract :
A formula is given for the closed-loop root locus of a linear control system, designed using the separation principle, when the loop gain is changed from its nominal value. An illustrative example is given, and extensions to dynamic mismatch, discrete-time systems, and reduced-order dynamics are discussed.
