Abstract :
A system recently invented to provide two-way interactive capabilities in the broadcast environment is described. The TVA system provides an independent two-way interactive viewer response system which can be used in conjunction with almost any video distribution technology. Its theory of operation is presented. Response transmissions, response pulse propagation, and TV receiver susceptibility are discussed.<>
