Abstract :
In this letter, we propose an efficient algorithm for maximum-likelihood decoding of Raptor codes used over the binary erasure channel. The algorithm is inspired by the decoding scheme suggested in the 3GPP multimedia broadcast/multicast services standard and is an improved version of it.
