Abstract
Personalized medicine is the genetic testing of the patient to determine the predicted efficacies of an array of pharmaceuticals. Some of these medicines may be more effective, and some may be metabolized differently. The choice of medicine to administer for all diseases, from cancer to depression, is improved if we are aware in advance of the presence of indicative genetic markers.
