Abstract :
A load frequency control for a two-area interconnected system is designed taking into account the nonlinearity and stochasticy of the load and using an optimal linear strategy aided by stability analysis. An observer is proposed for its implementation. A coordinating control for the two area system based on acceleration feedback is suggested.
