Abstract :
The dispersion relations of an axially grooved rectangular (AGR) waveguide are presented using the overlapping T-block approach. The fields within an AGR waveguide are divided into those of three overlapping asymmetric T-blocks. The convergence characteristics of the dispersion relations are shown in terms of the cutoff frequency and compared with other results.
