Abstract :
The authors present a summary of the results of a study on CDMA feedback power control in multipath fading radio channels. The signal and interference statistics after power control are presented for a simulated radio system which includes multiple base stations. It is shown that often used analyses based on perfect average power control lead to optimistic capacity results because interference is underestimated by 1-2 dB.
