Abstract :
A technique for mitigating the carrier suppression effect in DWDM systems carrying RF signals is presented, based on multichannel SSB generation achieved by offsetting the carrier frequencies with respect to the bandpass centre frequencies of the AWG multiplexer. It is applied to an eight-channel WDM analogue system. To the best of the authors´ knowledge this is the first experimental demonstration of a dispersion tolerant analogue WDM system
