Abstract :
A uniform, ten-element array of closely spaced (1-3 μm) real-index depressions (antiguides), with lasing suppressed in the positive-index regions between antiguides, supports ten lasing eigenmodes. Near-field amplitude profiles and radiation losses are presented and discussed. Radiation losses of inphase and out-of-phase array modes are negligible in comparison with the radiation loss of one array element taken separately
